Victorian Autumn Painting

Artist:  Thomas Kinkade

Collection:  Home Is Where the Heart Is IV

Release Date:  August 2005

Art Notes:   "My Victorian Autumn, the fourth seasonal addition to my series of idyllic family retreats, visits an imposing Victorian mansion in the fall of the year.  A handsome gabled roof flanks the massive brick chimney, which trickles smoke from the hearth into the cool evening air.  Light pours through the rectangular windows, providing a glimpse of the comfortable family life unfolding within. This painting evokes thoughts of crisp air tinted with the smell of wood smoke, fresh-picked apples, and pumpkin pie!

The change of seasons is well underway, and nature is blessed by the abundance of color it displays when summer begins to fade into fall. The nearby  foliage is lavish with the last blossoms of summer, the reds, pinks, blues, and purples of a floral bouquet, while the trees have already begun to flame red and gold with the vibrant hues of autumn.  Victorian Autumn is an idyllic spot from which to savor the ripe pleasures of this most fruitful season of the year.  I invite you to join me in savoring this joyful home where our hearts can reside among God's quiet blessings. " - Thomas Kinkade

There are four hidden N's in Victorian Autumn Thom's continued tribute to his wife Nanette.  There are also two cats, five pumpkins and the ever present lightpost, which is already lit for the evening, lighting the pathway to the house.  Thom featured a lightpost in many of his painting as a symbol of God's light in our lives, guiding and directing our pathway home.

For Thomas Kinkade the Home is Where the Heart Is painting collection represents four settings where family reigns supreme; warmth and love radiate from glowing windows, and contentment lies within!  Other paintings in this series include Home is Where the Heart Is, Home is Where the Heart is II and The Night Before Christmas.  The first two paintings are already sold out.

Painting Description:  Thomas Kinkade Studios Limited Edition Paintings combine old world craftsmanship with the finest materials and latest production technologies to produce extraordinary canvas artwork. The process captures not only the color and mood of the original painting, but the actual brushwork as well.  The image is reproduced on acid free, museum quality canvas with superior, long-life pigment inks, and then hand stretched on a hardwood frame.  Every piece is hand-retouched by skilled artisans, giving the painting a look almost identical to the artist's on-easel original.  Vibrant colors, rich textures and color tones accurate to the original brushstrokes are the hallmarks of your finished piece.  Each painting comes with a matching Certificate of Authenticity for your permanent records.  Made in the USA.

Edition Information:  There are five limited editions available at the time of a paintings release: Standard Numbered (S/N), Gallery Proof (G/P), Artist Proof (A/P), Publisher Proof (P/P), and Examination Proof, (E/P).  Each limited edition painting is created one at a time, after it is ordered, to ensure uniform color quality.  Once the number of paintings allocated to a specific size and edition are sold out there will be no more made with that same edition criteria.  Some artworks, like this one, will also have an additional Atelier National (A/N) 40" x 60" edition.  The A/N level is known as the Epic or Monumental sized Canvas and it is perfect for an expansive wall space.

Notes:
  1. The S/N, A/P, P/P, and E/P level canvases are all hand highlighted and numbered, and they look identical when finished.  The only thing that changes per level is the number of copies assigned to each level. When the artwork is first released, the S/N Level is the most affordable option because it has the largest number of copies available.
  2. The G/P level is also hand highlighted and numbered and it looks identical to the other levels, except for the very small, unique gold foil Remarque stamped on the front of the image.  This remarque relates uniquely to the subject matter of the painting in some way and changes from painting to painting.  For instance on the Snow White painting the remarque was a gold apple.
  3. The A/N Edition is the designation for the 40" x 60" Monumental Sized painting.  Each Atelier National canvas is hand-highlighted and numbered similar to the other editions and is designated with the letters A/N.
  4. On the front of every Limited Edition Painting there is a small designation that records the edition purchased (S/N), and the exact number you purchased out of the total edition size (ex. 89/125).  The certificate of authenticity will also record this information.
Frame Description:  Thomas Kinkade Studios Limited Edition Painting Frames are works of art unto themselves. The frames are specifically hand crafted, using premium museum quality moldings, to accommodate and compliment Thomas Kinkade Studios Limited Edition Paintings.  Additional features include: an engraved brass nameplate; secure & removable canvas clips; and a high strength coated wire hanger.  Please note that your frame choice will add between 6 to 20 inches to the image size.  If space is tight consider one of the Petite Frames or frames without linen matting.

Estimated Delivery:  Each Limited Edition Painting is made and hand highlighted after it is ordered, and depending on artwork demand there may be a line of orders in front of you.  Frame availability may also impact delivery times.  If your selected frame is out of stock at the time of the order we will contact you with an updated timeline for the selected frame and/or ask if you want to select a different frame that is currently in stock.  For these reasons, it can take about 3-4 weeks to make the item and ship it to you.  Call the Art Gallery at 252-453-2383, (between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time), to find out which images and edition(s) we have in stock at our Art Gallery and/or to arrange for faster delivery options.
